Volleyball Coaching Reflection

In grade 10 I decided to help my volleyball club coach grade 6-8 volleyball. I really enjoyed it that is why I choose to write my reflection on it. I feel it is important to help others and give back to the community because other people have helped and the community have or will help me in some point. I believe in karma if I do something good something good will happen to me. It is important to incorporate service into your lifestyle because I believe that lifestyle is like the four strands must be equally balanced out with service athletics academics/a job and arts. I will carry this into the rest of my life by coaching volleyball once I can no longer play volleyball I hope to coach. I want to do this because people shared there love of volleyball with me and I would like to share my love with someone else. This project enhances someones life by getting learn volleyball from people that are close to their age and the get to share the love of the sport with someone else. I changed as an individual because I preformed better as an athlete after seeing how hard the kids worked. They worked hard so they could become better players and it showed me how to do that as well. Some connections between the experience and employable skills are working with younger kids and teaching them will help me in a job situation using the leaderships skills I learned will help me in a job because i needed to lead and work together at the same time with other people.
